The Cafe 


Perched on the shores of the Canning River, at the water sports hot spot, Deepwater Point, is the largest and busiest Cafe in the Dome Cafe Group. We run an extensive cafe menu, every day from 6am till 9pm, are fully licensed and do this all in the most picturesque of surrounds of river, grass, walking trails, picnic tables and playgrounds.

More than just a well-known name, Dome Coffees is an established, professionally run hospitality business, the management team is local and has decades of experience of owning cafes, hotels and bars. This expertise is focused on investing in ways to allow our frontline managers spend their time working with people - not pushing around paper. 


The Role


An Assistant Cafe Manager is a key member of the greater management team working closely with the Cafe Manager and Kitchen Manager. You would manage 5 shifts over a 7-day week. 


Specifically, this means. 


  • Managing the opening or closing routines of the café. 
  • Leading the team, from the front - throughout the day.  
  • Being versatile and able to help your team out in all stations, whilst ensuring guest service remains the focus for everyone. 
  • Directing the team; coaching and training and giving praise and feedback in equal measures. 
  • Maintaining standards of presentation, image, food and beverage products and guest service.
