Bunbury Farmers Market is recruiting for an experienced and hard-working baker to join our team. The position is full time on a 5 day roster including 1 day of the weekend, with 2 consecutive days off. We have postions available in Bunbury, and our Vasse store opening in December 2024.

The Role
- Production of a range of high quality baked products.
- Have a passion for fresh, great food that is made with love.
- You are able to work at a fast pace while maintaining our high standards
- Ensure all Health and Safety procedures are followed
- Knowledge of commercial cooking equipment
- Make sure that all food safety and product specifications are met
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
A key element of this position is maintaining our company's high standards
- Experience within a similar role within the food industry
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices, OH&S and HACCP Food Safety systems
- A focus on freshness and the highest quality of food production
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of four years baking experience
- Must be able to work well in a team-based environment
- Detail oriented - especially in ensuring the quality, freshness and visual appeal of our products
- Must have excellent organisation and communication skills
- Must be punctual, and self-motivated
- Assist other departments as required
- Contribute to business improvement process
