About the role
We are looking for an experienced Barista/Bar Tender to join our vibrant team at Vans Cafe & Deli in Cottesloe, WA. This is a casual role, with full or part time available, offering flexible hours in a fast-paced and fun environment.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing high-quality coffee drinks, smoothies and other beverages to our customers' satisfaction
- Delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Accurately operating the cash register and handling payments
- Restocking and maintaining the bar and cafe area to ensure cleanliness and organisation
- Assisting the kitchen team with food preparation and service when required
- Following all health, safety and licensing regulations
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Barista and/or Bar Tender, preferably in a cafe or hospitality setting
- RSA Certificare
- Food Safe Certificate
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
- Excellent knowledge of coffee preparation, including different coffee brewing methods and machine operation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Good numeracy skills and attention to detail when handling cash and payments
- Availability on the weekends and nights
- A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing high-quality service
