Supervisor (Permanent Part Time  Position)

We are a busy Dome cafe in the Kingsley Village Shopping Centre with a seating capacity of 120+ and are looking for a permanent full time/part-time Supervisor to help lead our front of house team and become part of our Café Community.  If you are looking for an exciting and challenging role in a family friendly, vibrant and fun cafe, one where the guests leave feeling good because of the understanding and personal warmth of our team of Superstars and not just the great coffee, this could be the opportunity for you.

You will need to be a team player with a warm and friendly personality who can communicate well with colleagues and guests alike and enjoy the challenge of being in a busy environment.  

We are looking for is someone who

• is able to provide effective leadership by working alongside the team during a shift, showing positive energy and enthusiasm, clear direction and support
• can be responsible for managing, motivating and leading their team to deliver the ultimate guest experience by being approachable, engaging and willing to go above and beyond the guest’s expectations
• would be responsible for creating a welcoming environment in the cafe
• will enjoy creating and being part of an extended café community made up of both team members and our guests 
• has flexible availability that includes evenings and weekends and be able to cover shifts during holidays or when necessary.  At the moment we are open from 6.00am to 6.00pm each day. 
• will be responsible for carrying out the required administrative duties 
• has hands on experience in all aspects of front of house ideally including Barista skills.

Hands on experience back of house would be an advantage.

We are looking for candidates who have previous relevant experience in a busy café environment, preferably in a Dome Café but while experience gets you in the door, it is commitment and personality we are looking for. Training could be available
