Cafe Supervisor

Fremantle Spirit Company (FSCo) Coffee Bar is seeking a superstar Café Supervisor to work with our fantastic, vibrant and slightly mad team at our O’Connor based distillery and coffee bar. 

Here at FSCo Coffee Bar, we believe that good coffee and great service is what underpins our offering. From the moment customers walk through our doors, we are committed to providing a high quality coffee and friendly welcoming experience to every patron.

Fremantle Spirit Company is an operational distillery, supported by a busy Coffee Bar with a small, tight team. We are looking for a superstar hustler who can bring the Coffee Bar to the next level, while we embark on the next stage of distillery expansion into tasting and event nights.

We are looking for our next incredible supervisor as someone with minimum 1 year in a similar role, great coffee knowledge, the desire to inspire and lead a team (not just be a boss) and who has a genuine passion for providing outstanding service to our great customers. The role is varied and as the distillery expands there will be more opportunities to be involved with event and distillery shenanigans, however the short to medium term focus will be the Coffee Bar.

The ideal candidate will be able to motivate and lead our team and will need to be able to:

• Display a passion and skill in making great coffee
• Act as constant role model for our team and showcase your professional industry skills in a friendly and genuine manner.
• Ensure the daily service is run to a high standard consistently and efficiently
• Manage café stock control and inventory, coordinate staffing rosters
• Provide training and knowledge building to team members, via the means of dance and song if possible.
• Encourage a supportive, positive, and fun workplace for all employees
• Inspire team members with a lead-by-example approach with a positive and energetic attitude
• Develop new and exciting cafe offerings
• Work collaboratively with other personnel within the business and assist in recruitment for new front-of-house employees
• Current RSA preferred but not essential.
• Yodelling experience well regarded but also not essential. 

The Coffee Bar is open 7 Days, however the position will be full time Mon - Fri 6am-1:45(ish)pm.
