Casual Barista

About the role

As a Barista at Vitaland Kids Cafe' in West Perth, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages to our valued patrons. This casual role offers the flexibility to balance your work and personal commitments, making it an ideal opportunity for those seeking a vibrant, fast-paced work environment.

What you'll be doing

✓ Prepare the cafe according to the customer's request. No need to make Latte art. All coffee is served in a takeaway cup.
✓ Stock management, timely notification of the person in charge to purchase products.
✓ Take the orders of the kitchen and notify the kitchen to finish the food order.
✓ Helping with the tickets counter when busy or needed so basically need to be able to do everything tickets counter can do.
✓ Helping with the kitchen when busy or needed.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role within the hospitality industry
• Knowledge of coffee preparation and the ability to consistently produce high-quality beverages
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, welcoming demeanour
• Pays attention to detail and has the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
