Casual Café Attendant Positions Available

Whaleback Golf Course is a stunning 18-hole public course in Parkwood, complete with a driving range, coaching facilities, a licensed alfresco café, and more. Owned by the City of Canning, we're dedicated to creating a fantastic experience for all our members and guests.

About the role

Our café is an essential part of the golfer's experience, providing a place to relax, refuel, and enjoy refreshments. As a Café Assistant, your positivity and customer-centric attitude will ensure exceptional service to golfers and visitors at Whaleback golf course. 

A snapshot of your new role:

  • Provide excellent customer service to all members and guests
  • Prepare and serve food and drinks, including sandwiches, pies, and coffee
  • Keep the café and dining areas spotless
  • Handle stock, cash, and use our point-of-sale (POS) systems

Who we’re looking for:

  • Barista and café experience
  • RSA certificate
  • Great communication skills and a love for customer service
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
