We're seeking a Corporate Barista to join our team in a permanent full-time (Monday- Friday) position.
Based in the Perth CBD, you'll be working in our corporate in-house café and in addition to making an excellent cup of coffee you will enjoy a multifaceted role where you will be responsible for:
- Oversee daily management of the café: coffee preparation, sales, ordering and new innovations.
- Work alongside the Corporate Chef, to provide a well-balanced, nutritious and tasty food menu.
- Manage the café communications, documentation, financial reconciliation and reports.
- Provide ongoing coffee training, support and knowledge to other staff.
- Assist the Client Services Manager with administration and reporting tasks.
- Provide waiter service for meetings including the set-up, clearing and cleaning of meeting and seminar rooms during busy periods.
- Job Sharing Responsibilities: Collaborate with team members to share duties and responsibilities, ensuring continuity and coverage during absences or peak periods including but not limited to Client Floor and Reception.
- Provide assistance to clients and staff with audio visual and video conferencing needs.
- Provide waiter and bar service for after-hours meetings and events.
- Assist the servery, reception and kitchen as required, including after hours support.
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Excellent composure with ability to prioritise and problem solve under pressure.
- Punctual, reliable and highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- High level client focus with demonstrated ability to act with diplomacy and maintain confidentiality.
- Successfully plan own workload to ensure prompt service of customers.
- Maintain accurate profit and loss records.
- Develop menus, appropriate to season, with consideration to kitchen preparation and corporate environment.
- Immaculate presentation, in compliance with dress standards.
