About the role
We are looking for an experienced Bartender with barista skills to join our vibrant team at Vans Cafe & Deli in Cottesloe, WA. This is a casual part time role, offering weekend hours in a fast-paced and fun environment. There is the opportunity to grow into a full time role for the right candidate.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing high-quality cocktails, wine and spirits, coffee, smoothies and other beverages to our customers' satisfaction
- Delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Being part of a hard-working, fun, dedicated team that enjoy their job
- Restocking and maintaining the bar and cafe area to ensure cleanliness and organisation
- Following all health, safety and licensing regulations
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Bartender with at least 2 years coffee experience, preferably in a cafe or hospitality setting
- Availability on the weekends
- RSA Certificate
- Food Safe Certificate
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
- Excellent knowledge of coffee preparation, including different coffee brewing methods and machine operation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Good numeracy skills and attention to detail when handling cash and payments
- A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing high-quality service
