As we cha-cha (real smooth) into the busier months we (The Standard Perth) are looking for a few new people who haven't heard all my jokes.
So we're looking for a host, a section waiter (that might be interested in moving up to a supervisory position), and a bartender (with at least one year of cocktail experience)
We have 10+ hours per week for each position. These hours will ramp up as we get busier. Pay starts at HIGA Level 2. Work will be primarily Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
The ability to use both hands, move about, and interact with customers; a must. The ability to spit in fear's eye; a bonus.
The good; no gatekeeping, great vibes, lots of training, sometimes the music is good, the venue is sort of cool, and general immunity to mosquitoes during shift.
The bad; dealing with my steadily deteriorating sense of humour (that's fixated on cheese jokes recently) , the dry store is still haunted, we like to talk about our feelings, and sometimes the music is bad.
