We are recruiting for a permanent, full time, experienced chef who can be flexible to work across multiple locations in the Perth metropolitan area . The successful applicant will have experience in food preparation and cooking for large numbers of people. The primary responsibilities will include maintaining efficient management and delivery of food services for residents.
Requirements for this position are:
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage and delegate tasks to the catering team.
- Ordering of food and food storage according to the relevant regulations and adherence to budget guidelines.
- Experience in food preparation and cooking for large numbers of people
- Knowledge of IDDSI Texture Modification Guidelines
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- TAFE Certificate III or equivalent qualification(s).
- Full working rights and able to work Monday – Friday and occasional weekends.
- Vaccinated for COVID-19 and Influenza
- Drivers licence and reliable car
Previous experience in aged care is desirable but not essential.
