Job Description

Hub Australia is embarking on an exciting journey into Western Australia! Be part of history as we open Hub Elizabeth Quay, our very first clubhouse in Perth. Connecting the heart of Perth’s CBD to the serenity of the Swan River, Hub Elizabeth Quay will set a new benchmark for flexible workspace solutions in the neighbourhood. Opening April 2025, this iconic location is ready to inspire Perth’s thriving business community.

Are you ready to join the vibrant team that will bring Hub Elizabeth Quay to life? Starting in the second week of March with opportunity to attend training in another state (all costs covered), you’ll be part of the founding team delivering exceptional service and creating a welcoming, engaging environment for our members and guests.

As a Workspace Experience Coordinator (Barista), you’ll be at the heart of our brand-new café, crafting exceptional beverages and delivering premium customer service. From brewing the perfect coffee to creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our members and guests have an unforgettable experience.

What your day-to-day will look like (but not limited to!):  

  • Showcase your barista artistry by preparing a variety of beverages and managing the day-to-day operations of our cafe.
  • Play a crucial role in organising and executing workplace events. From small meetings to larger gatherings, your involvement will ensure each event is a hit, marked by seamless execution and guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks for food, consumables, and clubhouse supplies. Your attention here ensures we’re always stocked and ready to meet our members' needs.
  • Assist with aspects of our workspace's day-to-day operations such as opening and closing procedures and conducting space checks etc!

Qualifications

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in hospitality, retail, or a similar service-oriented sector.
  • Experience as a barista within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strongly embodies a customer-centric and hospitality-led mindset, adapting to the needs and preferences of guests to enhance their overall experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and pragmatic approach, always maintaining a positive and solution-focused mindset in addressing challenges 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for engaging with members, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient multitasking abilities, maintaining focus and productivity in a dynamic environment.
  • A genuine passion for building relationships, with a strong ability to bring warmth to every interaction and effectively build rapport and foster strong relationships.
