ABOUT THE BUSINESS

Left Bank Bar and Cafe is located on the banks of the Swan River, it's one of the most popular Riverside Pubs and Function Venues in Fremantle. You can enjoy a fabulous pub-style or share-plate meal with the family, watch live sports in our Sports Bar or soak in the atmosphere with live music on the weekend.

A lot of the menu is made from scratch, which makes as a great opportunity to work alongside some quality, motivated and experienced chefs.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Left Bank are looking for a late 1st year or 2nd year apprentice chef to support and learn in their kitchen. 

You would begin working in the larder and pizza section, eventually moving through the kitchen. There will also be aspects of food prep, stock management, rotation and time management. 

Apprentice will also be expected to attend TAFE. 

ABOUT YOU

Confident in your ability as a 1st or 2nd year apprentice chef. Left Bank values a self-motivated individual who is hungry to learn and would like to work as a part of their team. Must have good listening skills.

• Be able to commute home safely on weekends (could be as late as 10:30-11pm)
• Apprentice to provide their own knives and uniform 
• Drivers licence (handy, not essential)
• Maintain kitchen hygiene standards
