Café Assistant

Permanent Part-Time (0.37FTE)

An opportunity exists for a reliable and energetic Café Assistant to join the Swan Valley ACS Café team. Reporting to the Café Manager, this role will see you supporting the effective running of the café.

This is a Permanent Part-Time position (0.37FTE), working from 8:00am – 1:30pm on Monday, Thursday, and Friday during term time only. Alternate work days can be negotiated for the right candidate.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting in the preparation and serving of food in compliance with food safety standards
• Assisting with maintaining and balancing of cash registers
• Food stock review and rotation
• Preparing and accurately labeling of student lunch orders
• General cleaning duties

The successful applications will have:

• Appropriate Australian Work rights.
• Current or ability to obtain a Working with Children Check (WWC)
• Current or ability to obtain a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
• Current First aid and CPR certificates (desirable)
