Winnie's Bakehouse & Catering is looking for an experienced Manager to lead the team and venue in Rockingham, Perth, WA.
As our Bakery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of bakery operations, from managing staff and inventory to delivering exceptional customer service. This is a full-time role with opportunities for growth and development within our dynamic hospitality business.
What you'll be doing
- Oversight of all daily bakery operations, including staff management, customer service, inventory control, and daily sales.
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Fostering a positive, healthy work culture and providing leadership and training to the bakery team
- Managing staff rostering and availability, ensuring that all shifts are adequately staffed while managing appropriate wage costs
- Liaising with suppliers and managing inventory to maintain product availability
- Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a cafe, bakery or restaurant management role
- Positive, happy, engaging and motivated personality
- Strong sense of initiative and common sense
- Reliability & commitment
- Available for Saturday and Sunday Trade
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- A commitment to providing high-quality food and drink, with a strong focus on excellent customer service.
- Skilled in managing inventory and reading financial reports.
- Demonstrated experience in driving sales and implementing initiatives to improve business performance and profits
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Familiar with relevant health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
- Preferably a Rockingham (or surrounds) local
