MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Stock control for Kitchen operations
Quality control of meals being served to customers
Back of house rostering and staff management
Developing menu offerings in conjunction with management
Ensure kitchen meets all required health, safety and other regulations
Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
Preparing and cooking food
Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
May select and train staff
May freeze and preserve foods
Any other tasks deemed suitable by management
EXPERIENCE
Previous chef experience, Cert III and 2 years work experience or at least 3 years relevant experience (required)

To be defined with management on an ongoing basis

7 Day operation
Morning shift, Afternoon shift, Day shift, Evening shift
